Shakespeare Scenes

Why:

The BEST 10th grade scene will be presented to our expectant audience on English Department Day, going up against the rest of the English department, who will also be showcasing their

& You will bring the script to life, utilizing props and/or costumes as they are available to you

& You will be graded using the Shakespeare Scene Competition Rubric (which will count for 100 points in Ms HB’s class)

& You will compete against the other groups in your class for the title of “Shakespearean Specialists”

& The five groups of Shakespearean Specialists will compete with one another for the title of “10th Grade Shakespeare Masters/Mistresses,” as decided by the rest of the 10th grade students, along with a runner-up in case the winning group cannot make it.
